Skills are character-specific abilities that can be used during gameplay. Each character has two skills. Some skills have a "cooldown" period; after using the skill, it may not be used again until the cooldown period has elapsed.
Categorization[]
There are 3 types of skills:
- Combat Skills: These skills can be used instead of the normal "Attack" button to inflict damage. Some Combat skills can only be used on other players, while other Combat skills can be used on both players/animals.
- Field Skills: These skills appear as a button in the bottom-right corner during gameplay. They may or may not require a few seconds of "channeling" to activate the skill.
- Passive Skills: These skills activate automatically under the specified conditions.
Additionally, some skills have an associated "Status Effect" (or multiple), which falls under one of three categories:
- Buffs: using the skill has a positive effect on the player who used the skill.
- Debuffs: using the skill has a negative effect on the opponent inflicted with the skill.
- Area Effects: using the skill has a temporary effect on the Area where the skill was used.
