The Tech Lab is a tab within the main lobby where players can obtain limited-edition cosmetic items. During each rotation period (approximately 1 month long), there are different items available for sale. The currencies used within the Tech Lab (Access Codes, Mileage, Credits) cannot be used within other areas of the game.
Items[]
The following types of items can be obtained from the Tech Lab:
Skins[]
Themed Tech Lab skins are limited-edition; they cannot be purchased with Gems and are only available for a limited time. Some of these skins are Live2D (animated). Additionally, it's possible to obtain Live2D versions of standard (non-Tech Lab) skins.
Players can obtain skins from the Mystery PC, regardless of whether or not they own the character for that skin. To purchase skins from the Mileage Shop, the character must already be owned. To purchase Live2D Skin Tickets from the Credit Shop, the standard (non-animated) version of the skin must already be owned.

Deco Items[]
Deco Items are furniture items that players can use to decorate the background of the main menu. Owned Deco Items can be placed/removed via the "Research Center" button from the main menu. Each Deco Item can only be placed in a predetermined area.

Background Themes[]
Background Themes can be used to change the background of the main menu. Excluding Wallpaper backgrounds and the default background, Deco Items cannot be placed on [Background Themes].
Lantern Skins[]
Lantern Skins can be used to customize the in-game Search effect. Owned lanterns can be viewed/applied via the "Collection" tab of the main menu.

Emoticon Sets[]

Avatars[]
Avatars are animated characters that can be viewed within the Avatar Research Center of the main menu. Avatars provide extra rewards for playing Normal or Ranked Games.

Voice Announcement[]
The voice of the in-game announcements can be changed via the "Collection" tab of the main menu. These are only obtainable through the Tech Lab, and are not to be confused with Monologues, which are redeemed via the Tournament Shop and limited-time events.

Shops[]
Mystery PC[]
The Mystery PC is a Gacha shop where players exchange Access Codes for chances to draw items. These items include limited-edition skins (can only be obtained through the Mystery PC), Live2D (animated) skins, Lantern skins, Background Themes, and Deco Items. Backgrounds and Deco Items can be used to decorate the main lobby background via the "Research Center" button.
Each item that can be obtained from the Mystery PC has a different probability to appear. Only 1 of each item can be owned; any repeat items will be converted to Credits. During each rotation period, the Mystery PC will change themes, and new items will become available for sale.
Mileage Shop[]
In the Mileage Shop, players can purchase Mystery PC items using Mileage. Unlike the Mystery PC, where items are drawn at random, here players can choose the item they would like to purchase. Mystery PC items from previous rotation periods cannot be purchased within the Mileage shop.
Credit Shop[]
In the Credit Shop, players can purchase Live2D Tickets using Credits. A Live2D Ticket will upgrade the specified skin to the Live2D (animated) version; in order to purchase a Live2D Ticket, both the character and the skin must already be owned.

Currencies[]
Access Codes[]
Access Codes are used to purchase Mystery PC draw chances within the Tech Lab. Players can spend 10 access codes for 1 draw chance or 100 access codes for 11 draw chances.
Access Codes can be purchased within the "Item" tab of the game-lobby shop. Players can spend 200 Gems to buy 10 access codes or 2000 Gems for 100 access codes. Access Codes are on sale for half-price in "Daily Specials" (10 access codes for 100 gems), but each Daily Special can only be purchased once a day. Additionally, users can obtain Access Codes through the Attendance Event.
Mileage[]
Mileage is used to purchase items from the Mileage shop. Players earn 1 mileage each time they draw from the Mystery PC. At the end of each rotation period, any remaining mileage will be converted to Access Codes, and the mileage balance will be reset to 0.
Credits[]
Credits are used to purchase character skins from the Credit shop. Players receive credits for any repeat items drawn from the Mystery PC; the amount of credits received is dependent on the rarity of the item:

Lucky Draw[]
During the limited time of the event, each draw will grant you an item. You can draw up to 10 times in total. Once an item has been drawn, it will be removed from the list, increasing the probability to get the remaining items on the next draw.
